My ex is the father of my unborn child and he is taking me to family court.?

First thing I would do if I were you is consult a LAWYER!!!!! I'm not sure what they can do to stop visitation and even partial custody (as in joint custody) as you have made no record of his abuse (ie... police reports) The only thing you MIGHT do is find some other women that he had abusive relationships with and get them to sign depositions stating how abusive he was to THEM as well but this would only go against the character of this guy in court... He probably will come across as smelling like a rose in court with all kinds of witnesses stating to how stable and loving a guy he is.... so PLEASE get a lawyer...
