If calcium hampers the absorption of vitamins, how can i get my calcium if i'm currently taking multivitamins?

I've never heard of calcium hampering the absortion of vitamins. Sounds like an old wives tale to me. However, I do know that if your worried about vitamins not being absorbed, fats in dairy products line the walls of the intestines and make more difficult to absorb nutrients. Dairy products should be taken in moderation. Its not so much of a problem so if you want to take them at the same time, go ahead.
