Has anyone been getting e-mails from something called yahoo Ireland about lotto winnings? if so is it a sham?

i got even worse. its from yahoo london, i even kept in touch with the officer and gave my details, the catch was only when i hv to pay the postal fees. so i discussd with my parents n we decided not to continue. theres a lot of risks
