Do I need 1 or 2 JL Audio TW5 13 inch slim speakers?

It really depends on how loud you want it. If you want good b then one would due but if you want really good b then go with 2. But the tw5 is really expensive especially since the W1 and W0 are relatively the same as the tw5 as far as quality and spl go.
